Psychedelic

Life is a band of colours. Sometimes, it’s the red that strikes you with passion! Then there is yellow for the sunshine. And many times, the darkness of black looms over you for longer than you can imagine and desire.

They say, you see only what you want to see…..but that’s ideal, isn’t it?

We are amidst multiple layers and blinded by the amalgamation of the colours in the inner crust, that merge with the ionosphere.

I like writing. Actually, to be honest, right now, I like nothing. But yeah, with a bit of effort, I could push myself to type a few thoughts so that once they take a tangible form, am done with them forever. Have I told you, I am looking for freedom!

I like music too. I went for a violin concert last evening, and I was glad to be transcended away from the chaos of the colours to the pure magic of melody. Thank god, being exhilarated is a different and a unique state.

Isn’t it so futile to want to confine yourself to a set pattern of existence defined by the others? Don’t we then feign ourselves and practise deception in its highest form?

I can’t help but hate this derived feeling of nothingness that envelopes around me and entraps me as its hostage. I have told you, all I need is freedom!

For me "right" and "wrong" have always been relative words. It's matter of perception. And now when I think of it, isn't "Freedom" relative too?
Maybe, my claustrophibia is someone's ecstasy!
I recently read this small text-work; about a prostitute [I am not sure, why am I even bringing it up here, but so it is..] who lives by her ugly life in night and tries being a responsible mother during the day. It's wasn't much different from movie called "chandni bar". The famous Hindi movie.
Anyway,I guess thats not the nucleus subject here.
Yes you are right, life is just a rainbow. :) [I wonder, why black is not a part of Rainbow spectrum though] after all grief and sorrow is equally essential in life.
And yes, there is no gift as divine as music; cause sometimes it's the soul remedy and often it's the sole remedy! :)

Anyway, it's good to see a post from you and undoubtfully it is very well written. Probably we write best, when we write what we feel! :)

Stand by faith and "yellow sunshine" will lighten up your life!
If it isn't happy ending, it's not the ending yet! :D

Cheers

@tom: Freedom, misery... you, me... we are all relative....Aren't we?

Maybe, my claustrophibia is someone's ecstasy!
Yep, and isn't that the reason we are so often misunderstood?? They dont know, even misery can be a privilege.

Stand by faith and "yellow sunshine" will lighten up your life!
If it isn't happy ending, it's not the ending yet! :D

Thanks, you give me a reason to keep my faith on:-))))))))

Hey Shelly, its good that you spilled this out... Most of us go through this vacuum, but never put it down in as many words....

However the best thing about this silence is... that it makes you listen to yourself and helps you reach avenues and shpheres which would not be possible without it...

Trust me pain cures.... and in the long run soothes....

Bless ya..

Life is beautiful and it is so strange that one needs to look within to see how beautiful it is.
As for the color, no one no one ever can or will take it away or make it muddy, unless you do so yourself.

PS thanks for the comments on the kurtapiece, also for the congratulations.. no he is not bong, as I am not punjabi...

Quicksilver!: You are right....as always:-))))))))
Freedom is indeed a matter of personal choice.....
And I need to push myself lil harder!

Alankrita: Life indeed is very beautiful:-) As for colors, I am still unsure.....

Thanks for coming this way:-))))

You know IRIS, I have been thinking! Not on purpose though. :)

You are right, we all yearn for freedom and yet it is not from nothingness around us, it not from other people; it's from ourselves!

After all, we are slaves to our own thinking! Last time, if something wasn't so; it was because "I THOUGHT" that it wasn't so.

Imagine a relam where no one is slave to their mind! Nothing, Absolutely nothing would be impossible because dreams and life would be driven by will and not mind! :|

Free your mind and you'll be what you want to be. Alas, it's not as easy as said, because we are so dependent and bound by our own thinking that "Thought" itself is impossible! Now isn't that an irony! :)

Sigh... I guess, I qualify NOW to be a "monk" and yet I wish so bad that I had a ferrari to sell!!

There are two things that are very well said in this regard!
1. Some of the most incredible things were invented by people who were fool enough not to realize that they were impossible!

And then Larry page, founder of "Google" said in his book, "To do something extraordinary you should have healthy disregard for word impossible".

And this "extraordinary" should not be mistaken to something "enterprisey!"; in fact, it something as simple as "your purpose of life" or "search for YOUR elixir". which afterall isn't all that simple! :D

Lay back and watch orion tonight! It's on it's brightest! Time will unfold and good times will unravel! Trust me! :)
